#GivingTuesday is a global day of giving. It was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. Over the last decade, this idea has grown into a global movement that inspires millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity. The idea is simple: a day to encourage people, charities and businesses to donate their time, money or voice to help a good cause.
With the challenges that everyone has felt this year, Giving Tuesday is a great opportunity for us to come together to remember, share, and celebrate the causes we care about and the things we value.
How can you support #GivingTuesday?
It costs over £2,000 a day to maintain the wonderful building that is Bradford Cathedral, to erun our music, education and arts programmes, and continue to be open every day as a place of welcome to all.
