The Bradford Cathedral Choir will sing during half-time at the Bradford City vs Rochdale match at the University of Bradford stadium on Saturday 17th December
The Bradford Cathedral Choir will be singing for the first time at a Bradford City match this Saturday as the home team take on Rochdale, with a 3pm kick-off.
The Choir will be singing O Little Town of Bethlehem and We Wish You a Merry Christmas.
Alexander Berry, Director of Music at Bradford Cathedral said:
“This is a really exciting opportunity for the Cathedral Choir to cheer on the Bantams as they play Rochdale, and to spread some Christmas cheer to fans.
“For many of our choristers – (and several staff!) – this will be their first time at a football game, which makes it doubly exciting.”
A Bradford City AFC spokesperson said:
“We are looking forward to welcoming our friends at Bradford Cathedral to the University of Bradford Stadium this weekend, as their choir aim to bring the festive cheer to Valley Parade.
“It is sure to be a chilly afternoon but hopefully the Cathedral Choir can get everyone into the Christmas spirit in our final game before Christmas.”
