Over the Summer and into Autumn 2023, maintenance and restoration work was done on Bradford Cathedral’s organ, to improve the instrument and its reliability.
Here is a snapshot of the work that was done in 2023 to show how the pipes and other elements were removed, cleaned and then put back.
The video is set to music chosen to demonstrate the new sounds of the cathedral organ, played by Graham Thorpe, Cathedral Organist.
