Internationally acclaimed performer Philippa Hanna will play at Bradford Cathedral this September as she brings her ‘Stained Glass Stories Live’ tour to the city.

The Yorkshire born singer-songwriter bridges the gap between Gospel, Pop and Country music, and is known for her relatable songs and soulful, Country-tinged vocals.

She has drawn comparisons to the likes of Ed Sheeran, Dolly-Parton and Taylor Swift and her online videos have racked up millions of hits with her Gospel version of Ed Sheeran’s ‘Perfect’ tipping almost a million Facebook shares.

As well as annual headline tours in the UK, Philippa has performed at the prestigious London Palladium an impressive 6 times as a support act, the 02 Arena and a sold-out Royal Albert Hall in May 2019 as special guest for Royal wedding singers ‘The Kingdom Choir’.

The ‘Stained Glass Stories Live’ tour, which comes to Bradford Cathedral on Friday 20th September, presents an uplifting evening of well-loved songs, like ‘You’re Still God’ and ‘Everything is Possible’ performed in Philippa’s warm, relatable style.

Having featured regularly on BBC Songs of Praise, BBC Radio2 and major Christian Radio and TV platforms, Philippa is a favourite with Christian audiences across the UK and beyond. In an event which appeals to all ages and walks of life, Philippa’s show combines worship, testimony and storytelling and is perfect for all stages of the faith journey, including those exploring Christianity for the first time.

Philippa Hanna says:
“This is my first time playing a full concert in what is now my home City, Bradford! I’ve been worshipping at LIFE Church for several years and I’m a part of the creative team there. But it’s my pleasure to bring my ‘Stained Glass Stories’ tour to this iconic venue and to be sharing my songs and faith story there.”
