Would you like to give an Easter lily in memory of someone? If so, and as in previous years, there is an opportunity for you to do so and the lilies will be displayed on Easter Sunday, the 20th April. We are asking for a contribution of £4 per stem and a sign-up sheet is on the sound desk at the back of the cathedral for you to put on your name and the name(s) of those you wish to remember. If using the sign-up sheet your donation should please be put into the Flower slot in the blue safe in the shop area, making use of a yellow envelope if you are able to gift aid your donation. If you do use a yellow envelope, please mark it ‘Easter Lilies’.
If you won’t be coming into the cathedral, but would still like to remember someone in this way, you can send a cheque (payable to Bradford Cathedral) for the amount you wish to donate, along with a note having the name(s) of those you wish to be remembered. You can also make a bank transfer and if you can gift aid your donation please let us know. You can also donate via our website by visiting https://bradfordcathedral.org.uk/donate and selecting ‘Easter Lilies’ from the drop-down list before completing the fields.
The flowers and the names of those they are in memory of will be displayed in the cathedral on Easter Sunday. Photographs, along with the names of those they are in memory of, will be put onto our website and social media. For further information or if you have any questions, please call the Cathedral Office, which is open Monday – Thursday from 10am to 3pm, on 01274 777720.
The closing date for requesting lilies is Sunday 7th April
