On 1st March, the Faith Trail returned for the first monthly session of the 2025 season. It is remarkable to note that the Bradford Faith Trail is now in its 15th year, and still as strong, if not stronger, than ever. Its longevity is really down to the commitment of the five places of worship and their amazing volunteers, in opening up their buildings and welcoming visitors, month after month, year after year, for such a long period.
Bradford Cathedral would like to thank our own wonderful Faith Trail volunteer, Alex McLelland, who has been our Cathedral Faith Trail host for all those years. We really appreciate all his commitment, dedication and enthusiasm.
After a segment about the Faith Trail on the BBC1 “Sunday Morning Live” programme last September, we have also seen a growth in enquiries and expect very busy Trails this year. If you have never done the Faith Trail, then this is the year to take part!
Feedback from last month:
Travelled from Preston – “Hello, we wanted to thank you for our Faith Trail on Saturday. We very much enjoyed it and learnt a lot. It also got us thinking too! Our highlights were the Masjid (the guys were great) and the Sikh langar meal. The whole thing was well paced and about the right length.”
From Bradford – “An amazing experience. So much to take away…A unique opportunity we wouldn’t otherwise have been able to experience on our own. Thank you so much. What a day!”
