As we reach April we’re now now able to reveal an exciting new development that will be taking place this summer: we will be re-painting Bradford Cathedral in the UK City of Culture colours. Here is a video detailing some of the proposals:
Alongside the major paintwork inside and outside, we will also be unveiling altar frontals in the new colours, created by our Stitching team; new themed chorister robes; and all our chairs will be replaced by colourful beanbags, with pink in the nave, green in the aisles and gold in the transepts.
Look out for more information soon as the project gets nearer.

Update: Following our announcement yesterday, unfortunately we won’t be re-painting Bradford Cathedral in the colours of the UK City of Culture, as it was an April Fools Day joke!
