Join Bradford’s Chordiality Choir and the National Festival Orchestra for a summer evening of choral and orchestral classics, featuring Faure’s famous Requiem and much more. Bradford Cathedral, Saturday 12th July, at 7:30pm.

Chordiality are delighted to be sharing the stage with the National Festival Orchestra for a spectacular concert of choral and orchestral classics in Bradford Cathedral.

Top of the bill on the evening will be a performance of Gabriel Fauré’s famous Requiem in D minor to a score edited by John Rutter. Written by the composer as a musical tribute to his deceased father, the work comprises some of the most beautiful melodies that Fauré ever wrote. Of all seven sections, the Pie Jesu, Agnus Dei and In Paradisum emerge as the most glorious refrains of the piece.

To accompany the Fauré Requiem, the evening’s repertoire will also include such delights as Fauré’s Cantique De Jean Racine, The Heavens Are Telling from Haydn’s oratorio The Creation and Verdi’s famous Chorus of the Hebrew Slaves, Worthy Is The Lamb from Handel’s Messiah plus many more.

Bradford’s Chordiality Choir and the National Festival Orchestra present ‘Fauré Requiem’ on Saturday 12th July 2025 at 7:30pm. Tickets are £18, available on the door or via www.ticketsource.co.uk/chordiality. A bar will be available on the evening.
