For my last congregational update, I wanted to begin by thanking everyone for the support and encouragement that you have given to us and the Cathedral over the last few years. Partnering with all of you in weaving Jesus into the rich fabric of the City and beyond has been a joy.
And we have plenty of opportunities to continue that over the coming weeks. We are of course live on the BBC Christmas morning, while the Midnight Communion on Christmas Eve and the nine lessons and carols on 21st December are wonderful moments to invite guests along. It is not too late to do this.
Then into the New Year we will quickly be back into our rhythm of prayer and worship and as ever we invite you to join us in these or at one of our many other events. Ali and I will share our final service with you all on January 18th. Everyone is of course welcome. That same day we will be hosting the service for the week of prayer for Christian unity in the evening. We hope to bring news of a new interim Dean in the coming weeks and I know that you will continue to pray for and support the clergy and lay teams who serve so faithfully.
Grace and Peace.
Andy.
