Congregation member and Bradford Cathedral Volunteer Catherine Warr is featured alongside other British YouTubers in a new national YouTube campaign which is showcasing the creativity of young people.

Catherine runs the YouTube channel ‘Yorkshire’s Hidden History‘ and she featured in The Sunday Times at the start of December 2021.

“In the photo I’m dressed as Amy Johnson, who’s from Hull. [On my channel] I cover a wide range of topics from battles to sport, and everything in between!”

We asked Catherine why she enjoys being a YouTube star.

“I love history, and videos offer a really dynamic medium for it. You’ve got visuals and music and sound, and you can do so much with it. It offers so much creative potential, and I feel like a documentary maker!”

And we asked her what is next for her…

“To become the queen of Yorkshire history – as high as it goes!”
