The ‘All Churches Together’ service will take place on Sunday 30th October at 3:30pm at Bradford Cathedral

October has seen a packed calendar of events celebrating black heritage and culture that have recognised the contributions made to the City and its district. And to wrap it all up there will be a service held at Bradford Cathedral on Sunday 30th October at 3:30pm.

The Bradford Black History Month 2022 Planning Group will be closing the programme with a service of thanksgiving and praise, that will include hymns led by live musicians and singers, with various performances from local community churches and groups plus special guest speaker Bishop Dr Desmond Jaddoo from Birmingham’s Vision Temple of Praise Church.

Nigel S Guy, Director of Windrush Generation and lead Coordinator of the Bradford BHM Planning Group, says:

“Black History Month is a time to honour our ancestors and acknowledge the Black communities’ rich culture and heritage of the past, present and future. This special service will be a resounding occasion to move forward in action together.

“This is an opportunity for us to come together and share fellowship and we are inviting you to come and join us. All are welcome!”
