On Wednesday 27th March 2024 a group of colleagues who work in West Yorkshire came to use the de Lacy Centre and the Cathedral kitchen to create some meals to feed the homeless, to help support the Bradford charity, Homeless Not Hopeless.
The group get together three times a year to do this, assembling dishes which are then packaged up and given out as hot meals for the homeless. This time the dishes included a vegetable pasta, an Italian chicken stew, and an Easter-themed hot cross bun bread-and-butter pudding.
The charity helps feed the homeless at the Bradford Forster Square Arches every Wednesday at 7pm, and on the last Saturday of each month.
