The World Reimagined
This unique exhibition features a stunning collection of globe sculptures, each created by pupils from Immanuel College and Bradford Forster Academy. The globes showcase letters, art, and reflections from students on the topics of heritage, environment, and global connections. These vibrant works of art display their exceptional talent whilst serving as a powerful medium to narrate compelling stories of resilience, creativity, and progress.
These sculptures have been created through The World Reimagined’s National Learning Programme. Blending English, Geography, and Visual Arts, this innovative curriculum aims to build empathy, intergenerational conversations, and climate awareness while encouraging young people to connect their local experiences to global issues. Students have initiated intergenerational letter exchanges with family members to explore their roots, traditions, and identity, then responded to the climate crisis by connecting with peers in Africa and the Caribbean, learning firsthand about the challenges faced by communities most affected by climate change.
Bradford Cathedral will host a Triangle of Unity family event on the 21st February 2026. The family event will be free for all and feature steel band workshops and craft making stalls. The exhibition and event aim to amplify young local voices, and create social cohesion through reflections on heritage and the environment.
