Frequently Asked Questions

How much will my booking cost?

We charge £225/hr for the main Cathedral space, £30/hr for our Chapter Hour, and £50/hr for our de Lacy Centre. On top of this may be other costs depending on your requirements – for instance whether you want a stage or staffing. We will provide a more detailed quote depending on your requirements, either from the booking form or from speaking to us.

Do you charge a deposit?

We require a 25% deposit to confirm a booking, and the remaining balance paid at least one calendar week before your booking.

What is the accessibility like at the Cathedral?

Bradford Cathedral is an ancient site and some areas are trickier to navigate around than others. However, we do have flat access from our Stott Hill entrance, both in terms of load-in and load-out for events, and for entry for patrons with mobility issues. Inside the Cathedral we have ramps to the East End of the space. Events with amplified sound also benefit from our hearing loop.

What is the capacity of the Cathedral?

Our capacities depend on the type of event and the space, but we’ve included some figures below to give you a flavour of our capacities.
