We were delighted to welcome many of our volunteers to a ‘thank you’ event on Tuesday to celebrate all their hard work over many years at the cathedral, as well as acknowledging long service for some who have volunteered for over ten years.
The Very Revd Andy Bowerman, Dean of Bradford, presented those attending with certificates, and there were refreshments and a chance to see some photo highlights of some volunteering opportunities.
It was great to welcome our volunteers to the event, with some who have started this year, through to those who have volunteered for almost sixty years. We have also sent out certificates to the many, many other volunteers who were unable to make the event.
