The Eucharist on the evening of Thursday 2nd November 2023 will feature Fauré’s Requiem, sung by the Cathedral Consort.
On All Souls’ Day – Thursday 2nd November – Bradford Cathedral will be hosting a special service at 7pm in which loved ones may be remembered.
The service will include Fauré’s much-loved setting of the Requiem Mass and the reading of the names of the faithful departed that are submitted to the Cathedral in advance.
All are welcome to the service. If you would like to submit names to be read out, please contact the cathedral office on 01274 77 77 20 (Mon – Fri, 9am – 2:45pm) or by e-mail on info@bradfordcathedral.org.
The Very Revd Andy Bowerman, Dean of Bradford, says:
“You are warmly invited to join us in the cathedral on All Souls’ Day.
“This service will offer an opportunity to reflect on our personal experiences of bereavement within the context of faith in Jesus Christ, who died, has risen, and will come again.”
