Help shape the next chapter of Bradford Cathedral

Bradford Cathedral is entering a season of growth, renewal and opportunity.

We are seeking a gifted priest who is passionate about helping people encounter Jesus, grow in faith and discover their vocation. This is an opportunity to help shape a Cathedral community where people of every age and background move from encounter to belonging, from belonging to discipleship, and from discipleship to lives of service and leadership.

As a member of Chapter, you will work collaboratively to:

  • develop an intergenerational culture of discipleship
  • nurture children, young people and families
  • strengthen pastoral care and belonging
  • equip lay leaders and volunteers
  • help shape the Cathedral’s future as we renew our vision, structures and mission.

Bradford is one of the UK’s youngest and most diverse cities. Our vision is to weave Jesus into the rich fabric of the city and beyond, and we are committed to working alongside churches, schools, community organisations and civic partners for the flourishing of Bradford.

If you are a strategic leader with a pastor’s heart, who delights in helping people flourish in Christ, we would love to hear from you.

We believe the Church is enriched when its leadership reflects the breadth of God’s people. We particularly welcome applications from women and candidates of Global Majority Heritage, who are currently under-represented within our senior leadership. All appointments will be made on merit.
