Attending Bradford Cathedral for worship
Worship is the heartbeat of Cathedral life and is offered daily through online Morning and Evening Prayer and the seven services each week.
Anyone is welcome to participate in any service; no previous experience is necessary. For each service there is a booklet which guides you through the service which includes readings from the Bible, Prayers, the sharing of Communion and, at some services, singing and musical contributions from the choir and organist.
The main weekly service is on Sunday at 10:30 am which is also live-streamed. You can use the Proclaim app instead of an Order of Service. There are large print versions of the Order of Service available and a hearing enhancement loop. Copies of our ‘Weekly News Sheet’ can be downloaded below.

Evensong Services
Sundays
3:30pm – Choral Evensong (Term-Time Only)
A prayerful service of Bible readings and canticles led by the cathedral choir. The service includes a short sermon and traditional hymns. This service is also streamed live.
Mondays
5:30pm – Choral Evensong (Term-Time Only)
A short and reflective service of Bible readings and canticles led by the cathedral choir.
Tuesdays
5:30pm – Choral Evensong (Term-Time Only)

Communion Services
Sundays
8am – Holy Communion
A quiet service using the traditional shape and texts of the Church of England Book of Common Prayer. There is a short address and no music. We share bread and wine to remember the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
10:30am – Choral Eucharist
A traditional service with high quality choral music and a biblical sermon. We share bread and wine to remember the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. There is provision for children, and refreshments are served afterwards. This service is also streamed live.
Wednesdays
8:15am – Holy Communion
A quiet service of Holy Communion. There is also an optional breakfast at a nearby cafe following this service.
10:15am – Holy Communion
A quiet service of Holy Communion. Refreshments are served after the service.
Family Service
First Saturday of the Month
12:30pm – 2pm – Family Service (de Lacy Centre)
We are launching a new service aimed, primarily, at families of younger children. This service will take place in the de Lacy Centre and will be an interactive time of worship and learning including food, crafts and songs.

How to Watch
On your computer, laptop or smartphone
All you need to do is head to our YouTube page or Facebook page and you can view the streams from there.
In the YouTube app search ‘Bradford Cathedral’ to find our page and look out for a video marked ‘live’.
On your television
You can also watch our services through your television.
If you have a smart TV head to your apps page and locate the YouTube apps.
If you have a device such as an Amazon Fire Stick you can also download a YouTube app and view it from there.
Please search for ‘Bradford Cathedral’ within the app to find our channel.

FAQs
How do I view the stream?
You should be able to start streaming the service from around 15-20 minutes before the service begins. If you can’t see it please refresh the page. If it still doesn’t appear please go directly to our YouTube page and look for a video marked ‘Live’. We will also post a link on our Twitter pages.
How do I see the text of a service using the Proclaim app?
You can download the Order of Service from the Cathedral website OR you can use a free downloadable app, Proclaim Remote. Once you’ve downloaded the app and registered with your name and email, every Sunday, when in the Cathedral, you select the current service to follow and the words appear on the screen as needed. If you would like any further support, please speak to a member of the team.
I can’t hear any sound!
Though the stream may be live the sound / music may not begin until a few minutes before. If you still can’t hear anything please check the settings on your device. If you can’t hear anything still please leave a comment on the video and we will check the stream.
Can I leave comments during the stream?
Yes, you can do this on most services, with comments, prayers or similar.
Using the Proclaim Remote App
When you’ve downloaded the app from the link above, open up the app and the service should appear on the ‘On Air’ list. Click the ‘follow’ button and the slides will progress during the service. Please note: you have to be in the proximity of Bradford Cathedral to access it, and to have given the app permission to access area services.
Children’s Space
Children’s Space runs for primary age children during the 10:30 Sunday morning service (in term-time)
We meet in the Cathedral and then go off to enjoy Bible stories, games and crafts in the de Lacy Centre (the building near the top gate) before returning to the Cathedral for Communion with our families.
