Who dyed the 31st of Oct. 1734 aged 51
He was a tender Husband, an indulgent father,
A Beneficent Neighbour,
And one who adorned the exactest Morals,
With the practice of a true exemplary Piety;
The Qualifications accompanied with a
Sweetness of Temper, scarce to be Equall’d.
Gain’d him much respect whilst living,
And caus’d his death to be greatly regretted by all his Acquaintance

MARY his Widow, by her Will
Appointed this Monument to be Erected,
To his memory
