The booking process was really seamless. The guidance we received based on experience, the actual venue itself was stunning and the perfect backdrop. It felt formal but warm and welcoming. I appreciated the expertise of the staff in making sure our event was everything we wanted it to be and drawing in previous events preferences to help us really maximise the space and create that wow moment for our attendees.
The event went even better than planned. As above, the support from staff was very much appreciated on the night and as part of the planning process. It was great that I was allowed to visit the cathedral twice before the event which really helped the awards ceremony to go smoothly. On the night, everything was positive, with no issues at all. The cathedral staff did everything they possibly could to make the event a success, which it was!
[The Cathedral] were integral to attracting such impressive audience numbers. Publicity across the board made the production feel quite professional. [The staff] were a great help on performance nights – for instance, taking care of the chairs before and after allowed us to focus on getting the play ready and then being out on time.
The Cathedral were very helpful. Their willingness to assist in every way – refreshments, front of house, putting chairs out – was exemplary. Can’t praise [them] enough.
Communication with the Cathedral was prompt and efficient throughout and I think every effort was made to make ACT feel welcome and supported.
It was easy to get a hold of someone to advise us on suitable rooms. The team were friendly and helpful. Every email we sent requesting additional information and amending our booking was dealt with quickly and in a friendly manner. This gave us lots of confidence. The room was light and airy. The kitchen set up was excellent and made managing refreshments very easy, The IT worked without fault. The furniture was comfortable. Everyone found the venue easily. Lunch was DELICIOUS!
It’s been absolutely great working with [the team] on all the logistics for the concert, everything was explained really clearly on the phone and by email, and we also followed up with a face-to-face meeting. [They] helped so much with all the publicity and went above and beyond to make the choir feel welcome on the day – they really appreciated this, so thank you so much!
