Applications for the New Music Biennial 2025 (NMB 2025) are currently open, with a deadline of Monday 4th November at 6pm.

Have you ever stopped to asked yourself questions like “What’s at the heart of it all?” “What is my life all about?” “What do I mean, where am I going?” If so, that’s why you need to talk about God, these films are here to help you do that.

In this edition of ‘Notes from an Organist’ we discover more about them, and what to expect from their recital including winning a chorister scholarship at Ripon Cathedral; growing up in Wharfedale; and being involved in restoring organs.

The Senior Facilities Assistant will work closely with the Head Verger to provide leadership and direction to a small but busy team engaging with our visitors, and ensuring that the Cathedral building and precinct is properly cared for and presented.

The Eucharist will take place at 3:30pm on Sunday 3rd November, and will feature Duruflé’s Requiem, sung by the Cathedral Choir.

On Saturday 19th October we welcomed Helen and Ian from the ‘Pommie Pilgrims’ group to Bradford Cathedral, as part of the national pilgrimages they are doing to raise money for the church at the heart of their community, in the Derbyshire village of Youlgreave.

On Sunday morning we were delighted to welcome the Bolton Road Community Cycling Club to the Cathedral for the first stop of their annual Yatra bike ride.

Michael Scott is making a card model in 1:148 (British N Scale) over the next 11 months to be revealed in September 2025 as part of the Bradford City of Culture celebrations.
